eburatti - Last time I took it to the dealer they replaced my radio and it appears to have fixed it (for now). I think they ended up replacing the radio about 4 times. One difference this time, was I disconnected all wires connected to the amp and plugged them back in. Not sure if that was part of the problem, but no issues since. Hope this helps!

Thanks Matt - I'm bringing it into the dealership again this week to have them take a look at it, and will mention that. Dumb question - does anyone know if the SEL w Sony audio has an amp? Pretty clueless about that stuff.

It cuts out with anything - am/fm, sirius, usb, aux in, and cd player

Hi Everyone, Looking for help with my 2012 Fusion SEL (Sony audio package). The radio has been cutting out every 5-10 seconds, then staying off for 10 seconds, volume not correctly adjusting, and the sound button is not functional at all. So far I have taken it to the dealer multiple times over the last year for this issue, and they have done a software update, and replaced the radio 3 times so far. Each of these has worked for a short period, then the problem has always come back. Has anyone else run into this issue before? I took a video this morning of exactly what is happening (link below). Based on some research I've done, the DSP Module, APIM, and a blown Amp are possibilities. Any help would be greatly appreciated - tired of this issue!
