I have a brand new Titanium Fusion with major issues. It shut off completely going 65 MPH on Mass Pike and shuddered violently to a stop. Only engine light and airbag light came on. Kept Zero Codes!! Scared me to death. Totally would have been killed if the tractor trailer had still been behind me. Week later lost power in town. Week later shuddered and lurched going from Reverse to Drive. The climate shuts down at random. Passenger seats cool when heat is pressed. Car would only unlock manually one night, holding the handle with the fob nearly on it did nothing. The car has never kept a code. Afraid to drive it. Dealer checked it out thoroughly but without a code they can do nothing. I am calling the car "Hal". It has 1000 miles on it, most of them dealer miles LOL. This car us a danger on the road and needs to be swapped out. Must be a computer problem and it knows it, thus the "hiding if the codes".

Not worth the risk. If we were in traffic we could be dead. Or on a narrow mountain road where we live-worse still. Steering impossible as well.

The fact that it did not record a code was a great concern to both dealerships I took it to.

Dealer service tech said it was a serious safety shut-down to prevent "Further" engine damage!

Just bought a new Fusion. Going 65 it completely lost all power and shut off, shuddering to a stop! Scared me to death. Has anyone else experienced this? AWD ecoboost titanium. 500 miles on it.
