I have had my 5 spoke replacements for about 4 months. 3 rd set of rims in a about 22 months of owning car. When you spend 30k on a car you don't expect BS like this to take place. I have had this car to the dealer for warranty issues about 16 times in those 22 months for misc. Issues. I will never buy another Ford.

Mine sounds like that also even warmed up.

I had this problem when car had like 4k miles on it. It took 5 trips of dropping car off to get it resolved. they replaced underlying frame the first time, no fix. Next option was the back part of seat and that did it. Still aggravated that it took that many times to fix this problem. Its been fixed over a year now and no issues. Had same seat powered and heated. At one point they told me it was a characteristic of the vehicle I said no fix it. It was so annoying.

Did you get any pictures of the new options?

UPDATE Contacted dealer on 7/15/15 They said they stopped replacing the wheels a couple months prior. Ford is supposed to be sending out a letter on or around 8/10/15 laying out the fix for this issue. No details as to what that is. All I know is that I am on my second full set and not happy because they are peeling again.

Do you think they will replace the wheels because of that? They all are not peeling like my first set.

On set # 2 and they are starting to do the peeling again. Does anyone know what can be used to polish out swirl marks on these black wheels? I had gone through a car wash with tire shine brushes and it left marks on the wheel. Car wash will claim no responsibility.

I think you can only save over them or do a master reset.

Does anyone know what they suggest to polish them with? I had gone through car wash and tire shine brush interacted with wheels and now I have scuff marks on the wheel itself. Car wash claims it not their fault.

I had same issue. It took 5 times and 2 months to get it fixed.They damn near replaced the entire seat. They were trying to say it was a characteristic of the car. I would not let that fly. It was so annoying.

I have tuxedo black and on my front bumper the paint was falling off. They repainted that section only though covered under warranty.

I had all 4 replaced with 5,000 miles on them. Iam currently @ 20,000 miles and the new set is starting to do it. Not as bad though. Pissed !!
