  1. My 2011 SEL with a factory moonroof has rust starting where the "channel" is between the windshield and roof line. I live in CNY in the rust belt so I am a bit worried. I will take a closer look when home Saturday and see if it looks any worse. I think mine was from a rock chip though that got salt in it.
  2. Check your PMs when you get a chance. And I would be up for giving you a hand with the fogs!
  3. Bump. Looking for any input or ideas anyone has on this topic. Thanks.
  4. Just on eBay. Search invisible amber 194 or something like that.
  5. Welcome to the club! For markers, they can be a little tricky. But if you decide to do them, I recommend either an LED that lights up orange, or what I did was get an amber 194 bulb with a mirror coating on it. It shines orange when on, and blends in when off.
  6. Sweet. That picture of mine is taken on Oneida lake. If you are ever in the neighborhood, let me know!
  7. Well yeah the holes are gonna need to be done. I am just weary about doing it. How badly do these rocker covers hold in salt, dirt, and slush? On my 06 Taurus, that is exactly what the stock covers did and the rockers disintegrated. So I am worried about doing this to the Fusion, although the Fusion is built much better. Any pictures out there of a sport without the side skirts on? Any idea what diameter hole? These are things I neee to find out before drilling. I am not scared to drill.. you are talking to the guy who cut a hole in his roof and installed a factory moonroof.. that was in the Taurus. But I need to know what exactly to replicate before I do it. I know someone with a Sport, but he is in Mass. Ideally I would make a template using his car, but that may be hard.
  8. I have been looking around for a very long time, and have not had any luck finding any information. I just bought sport sideskirts for my 2011 SEL, and although they need paint before installation, I am trying to figure out how they get attached. It is not a "plug and play" installation like I once thought. It seems as though there need to be holes drilled where clips on the skirts can mount. Can someone confirm this? There are mounting points on the bottom of the car that match up, but nothing to support the top of the skirt. Thanks in advance. Here are some pictures of the clips to give you an idea. I am not the most fond of drilling into a car that is in the rust belt. My 2006 Taurus rotted out and I do not want this rotting out too.
  9. Hey everyone. My name is Paul and I live in Central New York, just outside Syracuse. I am a big blue oval fan, and have had my Fusion for about two months now. Took it to the Carlisle Ford Nationals in June with a bunch of Ford buddies, and have continued modding it and making it my own. I am just getting started! Going to the 2015 Ford Nationals again, and I'd love to see more Fusions. So far, I have done clear corners, Steeda CAI, Steeda 91 octane tune, Steeda STB, and a full LED conversion for all interior lamps, as well as Diode Dynamics LED tail lamps and resistors. Just bought sport side skirts, and will be adding more and more. I am here to chat with other Fusion fans, and get a little guidance along the way. Viva la four door! Being that most of you are blue oval fans, I figured I would show my baby for the past four years. 2006 Taurus SE 3.0L Vulcan. Too many mods to list.. big one was the installation of a factory moonroof. I miss that car a lot. Just got way too rusty and I sold it. Thanks for reading!
