  1. I know that this thread is kind of old. I would like to know if anyone has done this yet? if so how hard is it to get the nuts off. I heard that it is very difficult since the threaded rod rotates when you start to loosen the nut. Also what size socket do i need for this. All help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.
  2. I just want to add that I have a 2007 Ford Fusion 2.3 and I want to know if the kyb rear shocks need bushing sleeves. In the rock auto website they state that the bushing sleeves are not included. All input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  3. Have you ever resolved this? I need springs for the back also and shocks. If you have could you please tell me what you used and also the stiffer rear sway bar, thanks in advance.
  4. Hi everyone Does anyone on the forums know the part number to the push pins that attach the rear bumper cover to the splash shield, bottom of the bumper cover and the 2 holes on the top of the bumper cover. I have tried many places and they seem to sell more gm push pins than ford and they are not even close in size or diameter. All input would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.
  5. Question is the battery on the passenger side of your car. I have a 2007 with a 2.3 4 cylinder and i have the same problem. On the videos that i have watched on youtube i notice that they have to remove the power steering pump. I noticed that you didn't mention this. Is your fusion different. It seems by your instructions that it is a lot easier on yours than mine. Also do you happen to have the part numbers for the 2 hoses that go to the thermostat assembly. My problem is disappearing coolant and a sign of wetness on the pulley below the power steering pulley.

    Water Pump

Well i am back this time i noticed that my fusion has a sign of a wet spot on top of the pulley beneath the power steering pulley. Is this the water pump and is it going bad. Please help if possible. If i have to change the water pump i will also change the thermostat since they probably have to remove the power steering pump and also should i change the hoses that go to the thermostat, if anyone has the part number to those hoses i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

    Water Pump

I know that this is a very old thread but I would like to know if the original poster or anyone else that has replaced the water pump used original motorcraft parts or another brand. All input would be greatly appreciated.
  8. Thanks for the reply, very helpful. Also I was wondering if anyone knows the part number to the piece of plastic that covers the pulleys. I guess it is called the wheel liner. It is missing on my fusion. All help and input would be greatly appreciated, thanks again.
  9. I am looking for someone on this forum to verify for me. Is the part number for the belt tensioner BT-105. I have a 2007 2.3 with automatic trans. All input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  10. I know that this thread is old but I have a question is that the trans mount and do you have to buy a separate bracket when replacing it. I have to get this done soon and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  11. I called the dealer asking about the trans mount. The parts person told me that I would also have to buy a bracket for this mount, is this true? the part no. is 9E5Z6038A and when I look it up online they don't have a bracket listed for this part. The only thing that I know that needs the bracket is the regular engine mount on the passenger side due to the fact that the replacement mount is for a 2.5 engine and that the bracket is required for the mount to fit. All input would be greatly appreciated.
  12. Good Afternoon. I would like to know if I can replace the case ( shell ) of a 2007 ford fusion key remote. The markings on the buttons are gone. Is this possible to open the case and transfer the electronics to a new case or do I have to purchase a new remote and program? If anyone has done this already can instructions be provided. Thank you in advance.
  13. I am also wondering how long will these engines go before you have to replace them as far as mileage is concerned?
  14. Hello, i did a search to try to find out where the low pressure port for the a/c is located at on my fusion. I have 1 in the front of the engine and 1 in the back. The cap on the front is not labeled and the one in the rear is missing the cap. Does anyone know which one is the low pressure port? All input would be greatly appreciated. Have a good evening.
  15. Well i was looking at the 17 inch fusion alloy wheels to replace the 16 inch steel rims. I have a couple of questions. When i was looking up control arms i noticed that they have upper control arms for fusions with 16 and 17 inch wheels. Does this mean that i would have to swap out the upper control arms as well if i want to put 17 inch fusion rim? all input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  16. Please let us know how this turns out. I am curious to see if the aftermarket belts work on the fusion.

    Ford Fusion radio

There is one other thing that i would like to ask. Has anyone here ever removed the a pillar trim from the drivers side. I was watching the youtube video and they say that is the best place to mount the bluetooth mic is behind the rear view and run the wire from the headliner to the a pillar and down to underneath the dash. I like that better than sticking it to the steering wheel.
  18. I would like to know how to remove the upper drivers side trim piece. I am going to run wire from the headliner to the radio for the bluetooth microphone. All input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Ford Fusion radio

So basically 1 antenna connection and 2 other connectors is that correct? If so what are the connectors for? Thanks again for the help in advance.
  20. I want to replace the radio in my fusion with one with blue tooth. My question is how many plugs beside the antenna does the radio have? has anyone swapped out their radio already. All info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  21. Thank you very much for your help. Greatly appreciated.
  22. Dave I'm sorry what I was looking for was the size of the spark plug socket itself to remove the spark plug. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.
  23. I know that this is an old post. I would like to know the size socket that you use and the gap of the plugs. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
