  1. Here is some pictures of my 2014 Ford Fusion 2.0L (turbo) Titanium AWD (all optionals are included in this beauty) Pictured at the parking lot of BASF's plant in Jacarei-SP-Brazil
  2. Ford could review/remap the current 2.0L Ecoboost turbo engine to 300HP at least, just changing and adjusting the electronics, a few new parts and with a DSG gear-box with 8 speeds. It would be suitable to a RS version: 0~60mph in 5 seconds!
  3. Ford Fusions for Brazilian marked are produced and imported from Mexico, due to a partnership between both countries: lower taxation on imported goods, included cars, but there is a limit/quota. VW Jetta (brand here in Brazil) are imported from Mexico as well. There is no regular importer for Lincoln MKZ nor for the Ford Mondeo (the European Fusion), just independent car's importers can bring them.
  4. Here in Brazil: SE/SEL version = 4 speakers and 2 tweeters (Ford standard system). Titanium = 8 speakers and 4 tweeters (Sony premium system)
  5. Here in Brazil is mandotory both license plates the frontal and posterior, and the law is Federal. The worst part of this history is that RADARs catch you coming and going! What a !!
  6. I think shak3 n blak3 is a photo's pro ...no plaque (car's ID)...even the plaque-holder was perfectly removed in the picture.
  7. No, we haven't. Actually SWs are not well accepted in the Brazilian car market anymore since 1990s, when wagons were "the most" . Nowadays the hatch-backs models are most sought than the sedans, just like GM Cruze. HBs are easier to park and more connected to the young people.
  8. What about a Fusion convertible ?
  9. Two-doors version: a.k.a. Coupe..Would be nice a Fusion Coupe ST, but it would need it be more "flourished" What about a convertible version? Just like an Aston Martin Vanquish Volante?
  10. My opinion is: you must go to the reseller, pick the technician for a ride and (after show the noisy door ) ask them to change the piece that seals the door vs car's body.
  11. Are you sure that such kind of covers will not produce any noise or vibration? Not now...but, passing some time, these stuffs tend to be a "noisy thing" (depends of the quality and how it is fixed, sure...). So, despite of the additional work or costs now, have the parts painted would avoid troubles in the future, IMHO.
  12. Hi guys! Here are some pictures of my 2014 Ford Fusion 2.0L Titanium AWD, white-pearl. All optionals are present in this car. I'm coming from a GM Cruze hatch-back 1.8L (144HP - ethanol) and it was a biiig upgrade for me. HEre in Brazil it is imported from Mexico as well...but hopefully the taxation was decreased due to an agreement between the Mexican and Brazilian Governments.
  13. There is a mistake in your post...Look at my prior post of Jan 24th and you will noticed that I wrote: "I'm coming from an GM 2012 Cruze hatch-back 1.8 16V LTZ (144hp - ethanol) and this was a biiiig step and upgrade, for sure...". So, it means that the 2.0L turbo engine of Fusion is not comparable to the 1.8L "regular" engine of Chevy Cruze. I'm posting some pictures of "The Big White Shark" now ...
  14. Yes!! Ford offers all cars they are producing worldwide here . The worst part is that we pay a lot of taxes on imported cars , but due to an agreement between Brazilian goverment and Mexico, the taxes were reduced by 50% than the regular rate. Then Ford Fusion became the best "cost vs benefit" in the segment, compared to BMW 320, Audi A4, Mercedes C series...which would cost much more with the stuff and sensors that Fusion has (at least the Titanium series AWD or Hybrid). I'm very impressed with the power of 2.0 turbo engine compared to my prior Chevy Cruze . I'll share some pictures this weekend.
