Heat element in driver seat burned out. Purchased new one online that after putting in I realize is the wrong part number. It looks the same except the electrical connector is different. The original one has 4 wires - red, black and 2 yellow below red and black. The one I received only has 2 wires, both are red and black. After having gone as far as I had, I decided to cut the electrical connector off of the original burned out pad and try to attach it to the new one in order to make the connection with power. So I connected the red and black wire to one of the red wires on the original pad; and the other red and black wire to the black wire on the original pad. I took the two yellow wires and capped them off so as not to touch anything. It does not work. Continues to short out when turn on. Is there a way I can make a connection that will work or am I just going to have to order again the correct seat pad?
