  1. The other morning I noticed this from my 2013 1.6 engine, manual trans at 31,000 miles. (I even turned Dave and Chuck the Freak down) . Stopped by the time I hit the main road. Worried me enough to check oil as I'm close to change time. Not sure if the cold Michigan mornings at 6:00 am had my oil a little thick. It was not as bad as the 3.4 engine or 3.1 GM engines I owned that did have a very distinctive noise.
  2. Same question but a 2013 Fusion. bought 16" winter tires on steel and found a set of OEM hubcaps that physically fit but the solid lugs don't have a lip to keep them on. I don't want to use the bi-metal factory nuts and I'm not sure if I can as they are for the factory 17" alloy. (wonder too if the had a different bevel to them for that wheel type). Thanks
  3. Running winter tires on steel size 205/65 r16 on my 2013 Fusion SE (stock 235 r17). It was what Tirerack and Discounttiredirect 's website packaged. On the worst of Michigan snow and ice I love how they grab and plow through. But in dry and wet I wish I had 215's as it feels like the road is an omelet. Curved on ramps and over 70 mph is scary. They are also Dunlop WinterMaxx 's that are aggressive on the ice/snow and less on handling compared to other more "Eurosport" model winter rubber, that may factor.
  4. Hi, I just got new steel and winter tires from Tirerack with sensors installed (what ever brand they included) . I was expecting to have calibrate but got nothing, as in no low tire warning, Seems to be working with just mounting. Didn't expect that.

    Hello

Was looking for a place to get some real world feedback on my new to me 2013 Fusion SE manual trans. I've been eyeing this car since the design changed and finally pulled the trigger.
  6. Hi, I too after my 90's and early 2000's GM's that were good to me for 160k and 214k miles, I found liking the newer Fords much better. Will take a few years to see the long run.
  7. This is what I was researching... Thanks
