  1. I recommend using 0 awg for the big three upgrade. Caps are useless too. How much you pay for the install at Best Buy? I heard they are expensive and sloppy. Post some pictures maybe?
  2. I live in Gastonia,NC right outside of charlotte. We have a few days below freezing with some rain. I have to leave my car outside since my parents take up the garage. So here are so cool pictures of the fusion frozen. First Picture and Second Picture
  3. I have a 2010 Ford Fusion SEL with the Sony System. I am wanting to add an aftermarket amp and subwoofer on top of the subs in the back deck behind the rear seats. I already know that there are two factory amps powering the door speaker and the subs. I was thinking about using the AudioControl LC2i to take the signal and convert it to RCA connections. But where would I take the signal from?
  4. I have a 2010 Ford Fusion SEL with the 12-Speaker Sony System. I want to add a subwoofer and amplifier but want to keep the factory head unit. I know I could use a LOC and tap into the rear speaker but is there any other options? And if I was going to use a LOC how would I splice into that wiring for the speaker? Any ideas or questions are well appreciated! Thanks
  5. When you say the door speakers do you mean the mid-to-highs in the actual door? Could I just replace the speakers directly? or would I have to change the wiring?
  6. Okay akirby sounds good, I will try and come back to you

  8. I have a 2010 Ford Fusion SEL with the 12 Sony Speaker System and I was just wondering if anyone had a wiring diagram for whole audio system in the car? I also was wondering if the system had an amplifier and if it does where is it mounted in the car? Last thing, has anyone either upgraded or modified the Sony system? Thanks
  9. The reason I haven't tried a USB Flash Drive is because I don't have any large capacity ones and I just had those HDD's on me from a laptop I dissembled. I am going to keep trying different theorys with the HDD's but if nothing works after awhile I am just going to buy a large capacity flash drive. I saw this and thought it was a good price, any comments?? I also have a question with the SYNC control box. I saw a video of someone using that control box because it has another USB on it. I was wondering if anyone knew the location of the control box on a 2010 Ford Fusion SEL? Thanks
  10. Hello, My name is Aaron. This is my first post so don't criticize me too much. I just got a 2010 Ford Fusion SEL. I have been looking for a way to play my music that I like in my car. I really don't have any mp3 players on me, but I thought about it and I decided I could put a Laptop Hard Drive I have in the car, connected with a USB. I have done some research and I have found out that the HDD must be in FAT32 format, but that still didn't work for me. I also tried lowering the allocation unit size, but that still didn't work. I just need some help on solving this problem. The HDD I am trying to use now is the 2.5'' Western-Digital 2500BEVT-75ZCT2. I also have a different 2.5'' HDD, which is the Western-Digital 1200BEVS. I do have some experience with computers, so any help from more experienced people is well appreciated. Even if you just have a thought on how to help, go ahead and ask. Thanks!
