What I ment by the size of the sub, was that it hits crisper. Doesn't rumble as much as the 12s. What does a processor do?

I bought the Amp like 3 years ago for roughly $100. It was cheep especially for a "2000W" so I didn't care. Reading your guy's posts made me understand that I don't know a whole lot about any of this. Like I said I just want a small sound system, just to give a little more boom. I want to listen and enjoy my music. That's why I picked the 10s over 12s. I don't plan on buying a new amp or subs. I want to just use what I have. Could you guys translate into audio for dummies for me? haha I get RMS but I don't really care about how loud it doesn't go. I had it installed in my 01 ford escort Zx2 and it sound fine to me. I simply just want to transfer the subs and amp right on over to my 12 Fusion SEL with 10 speaker Sony system. I've posted pictures of the amp and subs on my profile. I'll try to post them on this post, but I haven't quite figured this out.

I talked to an installer at best buy and he said all that I would have to do is install an Axxess AX-ADCT2. I found one for about half the price they were selling it on Amazon. Is this all that I would have to do really?? How would I install it? So I've decided to install my old subs/amp that I used in my 2001 Ford escort zx2 into my new 2012 ford fusion SEL. I want to do so using the existing stock radio. My younger brother gave me a box with 2 10" Sony Xplods 1100 watt and a crappy alpine amp. But who am I to complain about free stuff!?! That's all I know about the subs, the screws are stripped hardcore. So, it wouldn't be easy to look at the backs... The amp stopped working for god know why, so I purchased a BOSS Phantom 2000 watt amp. Ph2.1000. They said it was an 8 speaker from the Nissan dealership, but like I said, I counted 10. My brother installed the old system in my old car with an aftermarket radio and a random wiring harness. He hooked his up and helped a few of his friends so I just left it up to him. It didn't turn out great haha. It sounded good but we had to install a toggle switch and things such as my rear defrost stopped working so I knew something wasn't right. It slowly drained the battery, but it was just my highschool car so to me it didn't matter. SO, now i'm asking for guidance from you guys. I want to install myself, I want to do it clean and easy. It's what I think a rather small system and that's all I want. No competition system for me! I appreciate any sort of information!! Thank You!
