A 2020 could have 3.0.xxxx or 3.4.xxx but in no way 4.0.xxx Beyond that ,try a Factory Reset.... all that will do it reset all the settings, but not adjust your version... Beyond that, take it to a dealer...

Yup, the 'typical' life of a car battery is 3-4 years, some more , some less.... Best to have a dealer check it, or a reputable place

That site will tell you what the latest version that is available for your vehicle. If you are wanting a higher version, but it is not coming from that site, then you are playing with fire. My 2020 MKZ Hybrid, is at 3.4 22200 and works just fine.... I'm hoping someday it will go to 3.5 or higher, but I'm not holding my breath for that. 4.0 would be kewl, but first it's up to Ford/Lincoln if they are going to offer that. as I understand 40 needs better and faster hardware that will not convert over (that I'm aware of)

The touch facia is known to have issues... best to replace it, and if you can one that does not use the 'touch' buttons

I'll try to remember what I can.... because it was the Sony sound system, the new receiver unit did not work with it correctly... at the time I did not know it was digital... I do now , but it's moot. You should be able to put eh DD in , but it will keep the bar on top... I'm sure a search on youtube will let know what what you can and can't do...

If you are going to go Sync 2 8", might as well go Sync 3 8" .... just saying..., yes more cash, but you will be happier down the road., it is a pain because you are going from the 4" to an 8" Going with another option will give you more headaches, I've seen a LOT of unhappy posts about going to the android system... things do not work...

Take to dealer, or a mechanic you trust and have them evaluate it...

Time to take it to a dealer, or Ford experienced mechanic... 12 or more year old technology does not work well with newer devices... but that would only deal with the volume... maybe...

What version of Sync are you on? What Phone, and how is it connected (plugged in , blue tooth etc....) being a 2010, it would be Sync 1 , being that you mentioned Cross Traffic, I will assume you have Navigation.... and then you have to add you are 3 syncs away (current cars are at Sync 4) , and also depending on what phone, I'm sure that has something to do with your 'volume' issue... As has been mentioned a reset of Sync might help (only gets rid of settings, does not take you back to factory) Details always help, but remember this is a blind situation... we could be incorrect.... might be better to take it to a local dealer (or ford mechanic)

When you replaced the battery, did you or the place you had do it - program the new battery to the car? I've read that it needs to be done, so the car known there it new equipment (so to say)

I'd say go for it... usually class actions suits take decades to get though, and of the ones I have participated in , (3 of them) you tend to get barely anything ... i my cases it was something free that I did not need or want.... the ones that make the most of them are the lawyers... the manufacturer makes nothing and you get something that is less than what you were hoping for.

Make ya wonder if the people who drive leaded gas vehicles are pissed, that they can't buy leaded gas anymore Can you tell I have no sympathy for any of our that are complaining.... you purchased a vehicle that would someday loose some abilities, but you still bought it.... There are people who bought Toyotas that now have to pay for some features... Those that bought a hydrogen car, are getting ripped off, but they still buy them....

Could be a panel getting popped out... because of temps...etc... but not knowing what Fusion and year... we can only speculate

and don't you feel odd that just as SUV's and Trucks are the only thing being offered that the price of Gas goes up.... didn't that happen a few years ago? don't forget to blame Ford/Lincoln for the gas prices!!! yes, it is a shame that those of you bought something that you later could not use.... Those that bought a Yugo back in the mid 80's were stuck when they went out of business.... same with Smart cars... and the like...

I'm not defending them. I own a 2020 Lincoln MKZ hybrid... before that it was a 2018 FFH, and before that was a 2013 FFH, I've owned KIAs before, also a BMW.... glad I don't have them anymore, they are all out dated.... You would have to ask Ford on your last question... doesn't seem right to me either, but it is what they did.... you should have known 3G was going to die eventually, 2G was already gone, and 1G (though it was not called that) as well... so it was something that the carriers were going to do... 4G will go too... 5G will take over... etc....etc...etc...

What will you talk about once 3G is dead, and 4G is dead.... ??
