  1. So glad to have been able to lend a "hand"! It's amazing being able to use the info in forums like this and get stuff working properly / better. ?
  2. As a follow up for anyone that finds this in the future, this was the canister purge valve assembly causing the issue. After replacement, the noise went away and so did the MIL/CEL
  3. Replace your evaporative canister purge valve. It happened to me as well. It's nothing safety related so there would never be a recall https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/ford,2016,fusion,1.5l+l4+turbocharged,3330859,exhaust+&+emission,vapor+canister+purge+valve+/+solenoid,4936
  4. Why would you want the external temp to read 55 regardless of outside temperature? It sounds like your temperature sensor was damaged and/or the wiring harness. Since you replaced the sensor already, I would guess you have a shorted / open wire somewhere. -40 is a default reading
  5. That certainly is a strange sound. Do you have the blower motor / fans turned off? Does this noise happen if you only have the push button in the accessory mode (not pressing the brake pedal while pushing start button)?
  6. I'm confused about what you're looking for here. Do you need some assistance in figuring out the issue, or are you just venting your frustration?
  7. This is very interesting as I am having similar issues on my 2.0 4cylinder. Now to find the canister and valve locations
  8. Did you get a fix for this? edit: for those looking. This was fixed by replacing The evaporative piece valve assembly
  9. This just started happening today on my 2013 with 2.0 eco boost. When getting off of the freeway I heard a noise that sounded like a car accelerating very quickly. It makes kind of a buzzing noise that increases in frequency but only lasts for a few seconds. I still have not figured out what I can do to reproduce this. It doesn’t seem to be coming from under the hood, but maybe somewhere in the dash.
  10. This seems like a very strange problem. You've swapped all the right components, but still no resolution. Part of me wonders if this is something else, maybe radiator issue is somehow causing this?
  11. This sounds like a possible Idle Air Control issue. Did you figure out what it was? I realize that your post was in October.
