BRO! You save my life in 2022. This file works on my Fiesta 2016.

    Version that i had: DG1T-14D544-AE

New Version with your files: FJ5T-14D544-AB

    Thanks a Lot

So glad to have been able to lend a "hand"! It's amazing being able to use the info in forums like this and get stuff working properly / better. ?

  2. Why would you want the external temp to read 55 regardless of outside temperature?

It sounds like your temperature sensor was damaged and/or the wiring harness. Since you replaced the sensor already, I would guess you have a shorted / open wire somewhere. -40 is a default reading

I had so many problems with Ford Fusion. Almost every  certain time  I got new problem now even worst then other times . The problem I’m having now the trunk keep opening by itself with touching key or trunk bottom . I bought brand new vehicle for less headache to Do mechanical issues but I actually was more problem should . I don’t recommend to by any Ford product all the cars are bad I won’t buy any ford again . I’m thinking I’m going burn the car because Ford Fusion has so much problem.

I'm confused about what you're looking for here. Do you need some assistance in figuring out the issue, or are you just venting your frustration?

  4.  This just started happening today on my 2013 with 2.0 eco boost. When getting off of the freeway I heard a noise that sounded like a car accelerating very quickly. It makes kind of a buzzing noise that increases in frequency but only lasts for a few seconds. I still have not figured out what I can do to reproduce this.

It doesn’t seem to be coming from under the hood, but maybe somewhere in the dash.

Hello, i have a 2017 Fusion Platinum with a 2.0 Eco boost. Ive had it for a year now (bought new) and a little over 18,000 miles on it. I take it to get oil changes around 7500 miles, and no issues so far. Has anyone had any issues with the 2.0 engine?? just want to know what i could expect..thanks!

I am going to make sure I say knock on wood after this...

I have a 2013 SE with 2.0L Ecoboost and I've experienced no issues with the engine. I have >120k miles now. Changing oil at 7500 is a good range to change it at, a little early, but better than doing it at the arbitrary 3000 that most people are stuck on.

I just did spark plugs at 100k not long ago and it's just purring along. The only strange thing I've ever had was the stutter that happens after filling up the gas tank.

I am happy that my 2017 Escape just works 99.9% of the time with Sync 3. Biggest issue I have is decent USB cables. From time to time in BT mode it won't find Pandora on my phone, and some of the commands in SYNC to command my phone don't work like I expect them to, but again, I rely on AA and CP because they are awesome, way better than the commands and controls in Sync and the built in nav.

My daughter loves Sync in her 2015, but once it wouldn't connect to her phone and she called and was distraught that I had ever heard, I thought something serious happened, but for her it is a safety feature, but she doesn't like verbal GPS commands and has to see the map navigation, so she rarely uses it, she pre-trips and looks at it like a map before driving.

My 2012 Fusion about 5% of the time it forgets that BT audio was the last selected input, and it connects in phone mode and I have to tell it "bluetooth audio". It also pauses the music or navigation for the 911 assist thing, I think my car battery is getting close to needing replacement (it didn't survive a week not being started in reasonable weather, a few 30 degree nights).

Yeah thats pretty normal for older sync. I have another forum lost about how I got mine to remember that Input source. It was a mess. I upgraded to Sync1 software v4.6 and it broke Siri. Then downgraded to v4.4 from a Ford Edge and now I have Siri again and Sync remembers Bluetooth audio input.

Looks like Android phones can use applink via bluetooth but Apple devices require USB.

Either way it looks like Waze only works via USB.

Waze should work just fine over Bluetooth as well but won’t display to the screen.

Hi mvan231. multitask is referring to Android Auto when he wrote "AA".

    AA= Android Auto

Though I would type out Car Play, maybe CP would be the abbreviation.  ?

My Pixel 2 XL does not stay connected to Bluetooth all the time, there are times when Sync3 tells me that it's reconnecting.  Not sure why, even with the update I did.

The phone sits in the tray below the unit, so it's not like it's far away.

This is all to day , that Fords bluetooth is not 100% , it does get confused...

Lol I can see why I was confused about the AA. Didn’t realize we were talking Android Auto now ?

yeah seems like some odd interactions with software on these. Painful to go through when it doesn’t work, but so nice when it actually does work right

I had to delete the Sync thay was already on my phone then plug it in to usb. It synced no problem and CarPlay now works. ??‍♀️ Just glad I hit it to work. I was frustrate day trying to sync the darn thing. Lol

Yes completely removing the pairing from both ends is recommended. Then re-pair them again and see.

I just got my 17 platinum and am having the same problem. I’m hoping theiphone update fixes my issue. Really disappointed right now.

The 12.1.4 update seems to have fixed the issue. It’s strange that it only broke the Bluetooth operation for Sync, but it’s working now, so that’s what I care about.

I tried everything before as you can probably see in this thread. The 12.1.4 update is the only thing that did anything.

A side note, I was able to connect my phone by pairing it with the car, but had to select the Find Device(s) option rather than Find Sync when pairing it. This method turned out to be useless though as well.

'might' need to do a master reset too... though that would be extreme

So, I performed a factory reset, master reset, and unpaired from both ends. Even tried on my new phone and same issue.
