I am in need of help, a 2011 Fusion SE 2.5L won't start, will only make a click. Also the transmission indicator in the cluster doesn't indicate what gear I have selected (All the gear indicators are white). Tried both PARK & NEUTRAL postions...no luck. It has been in an accident (auction purchase). No airbags were deployed, but the car sat on the lot with a stone dead battery for over 5 months. The battery is recharged, and I checked the fuses/relays. All other systems appear functional. Is there a module that needs to be reset? Could this be the result of the Ford PATS system not allowing the car to crank because it no longer recognizes the key transponder? Any help would be appreciated!
