I have a 2011 Fusion with 8000 miles, manual heater and ac. When using the AC, the car starts blowing HOT air after a short period of time. The compressor shuts off and air from the vents is like a hair dryer. Adjusting the temperature knob makes no difference. When the car first started doing this, I could correct the condition by turning off the ignition and restarting the car. This solution no longer works. I have made an appointment at my Ford dealer to have this repaired. The fan speed switch works properly and I can select which vents the air should blow from (floor, dash, def, etc). I would appreciate any advice on how to properly describe my problem to the dealer.
