  1. I probably should just bite the bullet and buy key fobs, they are just so expensive . I bought the car from a ford dealer but bought it used and it didn't come with the fobs (just 1 plain 'ol key). I tried going back the week after I bought it to insist they provide the keys (and fix some other things with the car) but they declined. I even wrote ford corporate but no dice. This was the first used car I bought, I'll know better next time.
  2. I purchased a used 2012 Ford Fusion that unfortunately didn't come with a remote keyfob. That's no big deal since I don't mind using the key . However, whenever I lock the door (using the lock button the door) the security system arms. When unlocking the door I have to rush in and start the car before the alarm goes off. Is there a way to lock the car without also arming the security system? Pushing down/in the lock lever (or using the key to lock the door) does the trick, but that only locks the driver's side door, leaving the rest unlocked. Thanks
