  1. 08 Fusion SE sport package 2.3L 4 cyl What can be adjusted on my Fusion in an alignment? Toe, caster, camber? front/rear adjustments? I think to adjust camber i would need adjustable ball joints. and it seems that most cars that need that adjustment have been in an accident. but anyway, lets assume i said i wanted a 4 wheel alignment, what would be done? and should i go to a shop that has certain equipment like from Hunter? thanks http://www.hunter.com/alignment/index.cfm

  4. I had xenon conversion for my low beams. When first turning them on i would get a flickering "check left headlamp" message. since the wattage is very low at fist untill they get brighter (about 10seconds). plus i couldn't use the rubber covers at the back of the bulb becuase the wires had to stick out. So i decided to move them down to the fog lamps. (room for wires and no flickering message) they look great down there. NOW i am considering LED bulbs for the low beams. I know that they too use low wattage but they draw consistant power vs. xenon. the ones i am considering use about 15 leds. the power is probably no more than 10watts. they have a lot of these on ebay.... My main question is exactly what trips this senor to show "check headlamp". Is it that it detects if it is drawing a low amount of power. or is it that it detects if there is no power draw. if i put in the LED bulbs (h11 lowbeam) will i get this message again?
  5. where is the best place to get a resistors for my h11 low beam xenon conversion? I am seeing some for about $20. here is one kit i found. will this be okay? http://www.kbcarstuff.com/Low_Beam_Failure_Fix_p/rfix.htm
  6. I installed a xenon conversion kit in my fusion. This replaced the low beam h11 lights. Looks awesome and i love the shit out of it. when i first turn on the lights they flash on, go dim then slowy get brighter (about 8 seconds) this i believe is normal start up for xenons. There is a senor that detects if i have a burned out low beam bulb. since these use less wattage it can't decide if i have a burned out bulb or not. So when i first turn on the lights the message "check left headlamp" flickers crazy while the xenons are warming up. any way to disable this feature. or will i just have to deal with it.
  7. Well if you want a halogen bulb with colored glass. You can get bulbs that use the same stock wattage. (55W i believe for h11) Try and get bulbs from PIAA, don't buy from sellers over seas (china, tiwan etc). If you want a xenon conversion kit (NOT HALOGEN) thats a nice way to go. I have a 8000k h11 (low beam) kit. I paid $63 total on ebay. It did actually come from China (made in Germany though) but i haven't had problems. Same price as some nice PIAA halogens. The only thing is that when you first turn them on (xenons) it trips a sensor on the car thinking you have a burned out bulb becuase it uses lower wattage. (this sensor is only on the low beam and flickers for the first 5 seconds and goes away after the xenon warm up to full brightness)
  8. I have an SE i hear a quite chirping when my A/C fan speed is set to "1" . May not be the case for you...
