Have a brand new 2018 Fusion SE with Sync 3. Everything had been working fine with the exception of the system locking up on occasion. Turn it off and let it sit for about 5 minutes and was back in business. Having an issue now where my ac will work fine, until I plug my phone in the USB port. Then it just blows hot air! It does this every time! I’m currently at the dealership having it looked at, but wondering if anyone else has had this issue and what was the cause/solution? Going to post this in the Sync thread as well in case it belongs there...

We both work security in a casino and occasionally get a less than satisfied guest that think it's our fault that they got drunk and lost their rent money and we have to ask them to leave because they are harassing the guests. She had someone take a screwdriver to the hood of her car in the parking garage and it would have been nice to see who it was. The cameras we have are on all the time, but running on motion detection and use very little power. I've left mine on for 3 - 4 days and haven't noticed any drainage in my battery. Thought about hard-wiring it to the fuse box but would have to do it while she was asleep....she loves her car and is very protective! lol Just thought there might be a way to have that on at all times. I have 4 outlets in my Escape and all but one are on full time. My truck had 3 and same deal.

Asking for my girlfriend: I own a Ford Escape and previously had an F150 and my rear cigarette lighter ports remain on even when the engine is shut off. My girlfriend has the 2015 Fusion SE and hers shuts off when she turns the engine off. I installed a dash cam that she wants on at all times like mine and the battery on the camera runs down after a couple hours. Any idea on why it shuts off and if there's a way to keep it on? Thanks!!
