Thanks for the replies!! Tire pressure is good, all tires sit at 32 psi and I check them about once a month. Bad alignment is definitely a possibility. I had too many people in my car one night and hit a spot in the road where they ran a grate, post paving, but did a bad job filling asphalt back in and it bottomed out my back shocks. Would a bearing make a "whom whom" grinding like noise and also contribute to the instability when hitting rough pavement?

So I am at a loss as to what the issue could be with my 2013 Ford Fusion SE. The car feels "loose" on uneven roads, it wants to be all over the place. When I hit bumps in the road the back end feels loose (bounces to the side) and occasionally when I slow down on smooth roads I can hear a "whom whom whom whom" when slowing down, sounds like it is coming from the rear passenger side of the car. Please help, if I just knew what it could be I could take that info to the dealership to be checked and covered under warranty. In the past, if I don't know what the issue is they won't dig to find it. Thanks all!
