At this point, with what you have already done in terms of parts swapping, you probably need to start looking into a mechanical issue. I do not know the spec in terms of compression, so 165 may be low. I seem to remember 185 being the magic number. A burnt valve can cause very similar issues.

I have a '12 sport with the clarion nav/touch screen and sync. Would my sync update be the 4.6 or would it be a my ford touch number? I know it is a kind of bastard system compared to the standard audio/sync. Thanks to any/all for the reply.
