  1. Thanks for the reply, the ball joint on the upper looks fine from just looking but I may need to take it off and move the joint around to really feel it.
  2. I have a piece from the sway bar completely off plus what I believe are some made bushings. I was wondering if anyone could point me to the parts I need.
  3. A couple of weeks ago my blower stopped working on low speeds and only turned on the highest speed. I replaced the blower motor resistor and that fixed it for about a week, then it did the same thing. So I replaced the resistor again and replaced the blower motor this time. The problem now is the blower motor stays on high speed no matter what speed I switch it to. It does shut off when I turn my switch to off, but the 1 to 4 speeds are all pretty much the same speed.
  4. Update --- I finally found the issue, it turned out to be a ignition coil but was hard to diagnose because it would only do it at certain conditions. I guess the spark plug going bad caused the ignition coil to go bad.
  5. Mpg is around 24, about the same as before. I changed the oil just a few days ago. I do have a obd 2 bluetooth adapter. Just recently purchased it and downloaded the torque app but not sure how to use it just yet. I will play around with it.
  6. I changed all the spark plugs and put new upper air intake gaskets on. I didn't bother putting the lower ones on. The car runs really smooth at highway speeds but going through town at 35-45 mph I still get some stuttering, especially if I am going up hill.
  7. 120k miles. Also had a new transmission put in 15k miles ago. I put new spark plugs in the front 3 for now (putting in back 3 on Monday with new intake gaskets). I cleared the codes and although I haven't got another check engine yet I know something is still wrong with the car. Now it drives better at high speeds on the interstate and seems to get better gas mileage but when going around 40 mph I occasionally get a stutter and hear a noise. I still have taillight blinker not working and radio light dimming. Ordered a cheap multi meter on amazon and plan on testing the grounding of the car and battery, among other things.
  8. Hi all, yesterday I had the check engine light come on and my car was sputtering a bit if I got above like 40 mph. I had been having some electrical issues before. My light on my radio would be really dim sometimes and really bright sometimes. Also for a few days before my right taillight blinker would stop working. I went up to autozone and had them read the codes. It said I was having misfires on cylinder 4, so the guy at the auto parts store told me to switch the 4th and 5th spark plug and come back and let him read it. I did that but I also did a power balance test while the car was running just to see. I really couldn't tell much from it, did seem to lose rpms on the 3 I pulled. I take it back to autozone to get it read again and now I was getting p0354, p0355 , p0356 codes which are coil malfunctions. Would me pulling the coils while the car is running cause those codes? Also the person at autozone now said I needed a new variable camshaft timing soloenoid because of the new codes. But I am thinking I have grounding issues in the car.
