For those of you who ordered your Fusion. How long did it take to receive after the order was placed. My dealer is telling me 6-8 weeks from order date until delivery.

I received my package yesterday January 5th. Thanks for everything. I've already had people try and get the hooded sweatshirt.

I know in 2008 that a Hybrid will be added. Any other news yet on what the standard Fusion will have? 3.5 V6? New Wheels? New Colors?

Their are many reasons to love the new Fusion. It could be the styling, the power, comfort or just because it looks cool. I love the Fusion for all of those reasons and for one other big one. The money made producing this vehicle comes back to the United States. I know it is assembled in Mexico but the earnings come back to the good ole usa. Right now I am serving in Iraq and my wife will shortly go to the local dealer and order my 2007 Redfire Metallic Fusion SEL V6 with the black leather interior, sun roof, spoiler and just about everything else. While serving here I have a picture of my family and a Fusion. The first thing I will do when I get home is hug and kiss my family. The second thing will going to the dealership and pick up my new girl, I don't have a name for her yet but after a few miles behind the wheel I will. I'll post pictures here when I pick her up from the dealership.

I just stopped by my dealership and they have two fully loaded 2007 SEL 4 cyl Fusions. Exactly the same as the 2006 of course, great looking cars.

When will the factory start shipping the 2007 Fusion to the dealers?

I think the three photos of the new Mazda 6 is actually a Chevrolet/Suzuki Verona. Check out this and compare. I hope the new Mazda 6 looks a bit more sporty. I guess only time will tell.

I currently own a Contour with a sunroof. I love the sunroof but don't like the lack of lighting in the back seat at night. I have kids that drop things on the floor and it is difficult to find. When I looked at my first Fusion with a sunroof I noticed it had the same issue. The dome light is by the windshield. Several weeks later I saw a Milan with the normal dome light location and a second one added over the rear seats. Since then I have found one Fusion with a sunroof and a dome light over the rear seats. Why the differences. Is the second dome light now being installed in all Fusions with sunroofs? What other changes have they made since the car was introduced? I still plan on buying a 2007 Fusion SEL V6 loaded. Great Car!

I will be buying a 2007 Fusion SEL V6. Does anyone know of any changes? I would only expect small changes like a few different paint options or different rims. I hear the new V6 will be coming for this car. Will that replace the current V6 or be an additional option. Thanks,
