  1. Thanks for the battery suggestion. Certainly worth a try. I've also learned that this could be an instrument panel issue, which makes since because that is the only common place these 3 spearate systems send signals. The different systems communicating with the cluster could be a programming or circuit board that needs recalibrated or replaced. Called and talked to 2 separate instrument repair companies, one in Richmond, VA and one in Greer, SC. Looks like a cost between $ 300. - $325.00.
  2. Thanks eGuru. I contacted a couple of instrument cluster repair companies to get it checked and/or repaired. Looks like a circuit board replacement is running between $ 300.-$ 325.00 dollars. One of them initially recommended getting another from a junk yard but corrected himself saying that the key may be electronically linked to the board and cause the car to not start. That's new to me, I know they have chips in the key but seems a little over the top on the repair/replacement side.
  3. My '07 just started doing similar things. Same dash lights are coming on, have not had issues with transmission shifting and doors not locks though. I joined this site to find possible solutions. Did you guys have any luck figuring this out?
  4. My '07 Fusion SEL has (3) dash lights coming on intermittently. At varying times the high beam indicator, emergency brake, and the oil pressure diagnotic lights come on together. When this happens the a/c quits blowing cold air, (which I'm guessing is the compressor kicking off as the fan still blows), and the blinkers do not work (on the dash, they are working properly outside the car). When the 3 lights go off, the a/c gets cold again and the blinkers function normally. I have hooked into the ODB and there are no codes or freeze frames in the vehicle's computer. Has anyone had this same issue or any suggestions as to the source and possible repair? Service Tech said it will have to break in order for him to fix it!?! He could not find the cause.
