  1. Does anyone know what connector was causing the problem. I have the same problem but it is inconsistent. It comes and goes as it pleases, leading me to believe it is just something loose. I see two connectors going to the brake pedal assembly. The smaller of the two I am able to remove pressing a tab and pulling. The larger of the two I am unable to remove. I don't see or feel any tabs on it.
  2. Swapped out the battery with a new one, issue still exists. Hoping that would have resolved it. Attached the Ford techs diagnostic notes of anyone is interested in reading it.
  3. Thanks. Checked with ford and my vehicle is not qualified for the customer service software upgrade. I guess I'll have to follow their recommendation and replace the Brake pedal assembly. Hopefully that resolved the issue.
  4. Can anyone tell me the minimum software version that resolved this brake issue. Mine shows the following.VIP sw 13.03.000 GIP we 13.03.000 Eeprom we 06.89
  5. This issue happened to me this week. My car was built 12-2009. Two questions. 1. Would the tsb apply to my 2010 fusion hybrid? 2. Can anyone agree or disagree that the part that Ford is recommending replacing be justified based on the symptoms. Check brake light first started Sunday. I still had regen brake and hydraulic brake. Monday took it to a Ford dealer. They recommend replacing the Brake Pedal Assembly, $950 part and $200 labor. Tuesday Wednesday Thursday no check brake light. Today light came on again. Thanks in advanced.
