I am adding a CURT Trailer wiring harness (pn 56178) to my 2014 SE. The instructions says to run the included power cable and 10A fuse holder from the trunk all the way to the battery compartment. I would prefer to tap into an unused connector that is easily accessible from the trunk or rear of the vehicle vs running the wire all the way into the engine compartment. All I need is enough power to run qty 2, 1157 style trailer bulbs for typical on/brake/turn signals, roughly a 6A load total. Is there a good place to put in a "T-Tap crimp-on connector" on the existing harness or is there an unused connector such as the back up camera connector that could be used? (My SE does not have a rear-view camera installed) If so could you guide me to the location of such a spot? I am pretty capable but I don't have the wiring diagrams or tribal knowledge of this vehicle that some in this forum may possess. I am trying to save myself some time tracking this down by myself with a voltmeter
