  1. So to end this thread on a positive note. I bought an oil pressure test kit and tested the engine for proper oil pressure. Tested out good. 49psi @ 1500 rpm. Manufacturers min is 25psi @ 1500 rpm. And because the oil light was coming on sometimes and sometimes not, had to come to the conclusion the oil pressure sensor was bad. Replaced and after the drive cycle was complete the CEL went out. Can only assume because the oil pressure sensor was sending erronious signals to the pcm it got the pcm mixed up and threw the P0020 code. Hope this helps someone in the future. Thanks again.
  2. Hello, New to the forum. The problem Im needing help with is Im pulling code P0020 and the CEL is on. The car has approx. 140k miles. Oil has been changed on a regular basis from the beginning. I've changed the VCT Solenoid in the front cylinder head. The last oil change has been about 2 weeks ago. After changing the VCT solenoid I reset the pcm by disconnecting the battery. After the 3 drive cycle the CEL came back on. On the way to work today the low oil pressure light came on. I would stop at a light the the light would come on. After accelerating from the light the light would go off and stay off until i came to another light. Any help with this would greatly be appreciated. I'm assuming the low oil pressure and the CEL code are connected. Thanks in advance.
