  1. SOLD, THANK YOU. Purchased for possible HID retrofit, but I no longer have the Fusion. These are very high quality TYC aftermarket as used by auto collision industry. Box opened only for photos - lights still in original packaging and with protective plastic wrap. Assemblies include high and low beam halogen bulbs, and turn signal bulb. Can meet in GTA or WNY or can ship to lower 48 and Canada. $145 US for the pair. Shipping extra. contact me by pm or by email at ken_ken52 [at] hotmail.com, or contact me on focuscanada.net - ztwsquared. Cheers - Ken.
  2. Hmmm ... I have a different perspective on that ... AFAIK the Fusion remote start option is $300 as a factory option but much higher as a dealer installed item ... not sure where the OP is located, but there is still the hot summer days and the not-so-bitterly cold days where the EATC would operate normally in conjunction with the remote start - - and at some point in the near future (hopefully) Ford will come up with a resolution to the problem ... bottom line: it's only $300 if you want remote start as factory option - it will be included with your finance or lease payments, if you're going that route - I'd say get it with the car.
  3. I have the same problem with my '08 SEL and it is unrelated to the remote start as my 5-speed manual does not have it. It isn't consistent, but does seem to be more prevalant the colder it gets ... for example, didn't happen last night or the night before; we're in GTA. OTOH, my wife's '09 (Dec. 2008 delivery) does have the factory remote start, but we haven't yet experienced the problem of the EATC shutting down overnight, regardless of the temp ... so perhaps they fixed it for '09.
