  1. My FFE charges on average in 2.2 hours, 240V, 3.4Kw, temperature around -10 celsius (14F )
  2. I had this exact same issue arise on my 2013 Fusion in late Dec '16. I ran an OBD2 scan and it pinpointed the left front wheel speed sensor.( C0031 Left Front Wheel Sensor ) The scan also brought back SRS code B00A0 Occupant Classification System ( Subfault ) I assume this is why my air bag light was on. ( not sure how it's tied to the wheel sensor?) When I attempted the repair, I found out the there was a break in the sensor wiring harness on the car side, not the sensor side. The sensor was indeed still good, the break was upstream from where the sensor plugs into the main vehicle harness. I spliced and soldered the wire, then used heat shrink tube to seal it. I turned the engine on and all of the warning lights were OFF. My steering was nice and light again too. The dealer wanted $125 to diagnose the problem and probably would have charged another hour labour to fix it. The front left wheel sensor is $25 CDN for the Ford part and very, very easy to change for those who are curious. Check for breaks in the wiring harness first before buying a new sensor. If you are buying a scan tool, buy one that does ABS + SRS for your car. I hope this post contributes to your successful repair.
