  1. I hope I can find one of those in the junkyard but my friends tell me goodluck since its still a brand newish car, but fingers crossed my local pick n pulls have one hopefully. My only worry is paint matching and following the "correct" procedures when it comes to taking the interior side of the door apart to access the bolts without breaking the bezel clips. Wish me luck and I am willing to make a guide if one does not exist in the event I am successful with my repair.
  2. Hello, Last night a driver struck my driver's side mirror and now the frame is cracked and the mirror motor is inoperable and it won't adjust manually for me. I am on a very tight budget and looking for a reputable store with a decent price to replace the whole thing. The unfortunate part is that my car trim is the SE, so it has the blinkers on it and that my paint coat is metallic black or tuxedo black(in Ford's terms). I was also wondering if there is a free guide or instructions to safely pop off the interior door trim to access the bolts that holds the mirror assembly on. Thank you,
  3. Hello, I greatly appreciate your feedback and will start investigating the issue. I will share any details I find to help others as well and the progress in fixing this issue.
  4. Hello, My name is Aric and I purchased my first Ford Fusion about three months ago, and I like it. College was approaching along with work and I needed a reliable car, even though I am a family "mechanic" I wouldn't have all the free time to keep up with my old car, so I went to look for a reliable car and I found the ford Fusion. It is a 2014 Ford Fusion SE 1.5L Ecoboost at 60K miles, and runs very well. I am hoping to work my way up to pay it off to improve my credit and to make way for the Ford Fusion Titanium or Sport as power and AWD interests me, but I may settle with my SE. Either way I am hoping to maintain and take care of my Fusion and to share my stories whether it be road trips, repairing, maintenance, and performance. I am hoping to help others and learn more about my Fusion. I recently came across a MIL with O2 sensor heater circuit issue, but I don't see it as a downfall but a challenge. I am hoping to get help in figuring out what is involved so I can narrow down the fault and fix it, and share the solution is none if offered. Hoping to be a helping hand and share my experiences as I learn new things about my Fusion. I will have pictures soon posted. Thanks for reading
  5. Hello, I have a check engine light producing two codes: P0141 - O2 Sensor Heater Circuit ( Bank 1 Sensor 2) P0054 - O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Resistance I am having a hard time finding any repair manuals or guides to replacing the sensor efficiently without disassembling too much of the intake assembly covering the whole back. I figured out that the sensor is before the Cat Converter as it is sensor 2. But I am not sure if the O2 heater circuit has a fuse associated before I directly go to replace the part. I would like to know if there is a fuse and if so, what fuse is it? Also how long would it approximately take and what would be a reasonable cost to repair at a shop that isn't a dealership? The Ford dealership is wanting to charge $386 with parts plus labor. Thank you,
