OK well let me go ahead and look for a replacement factory harness just in case I mess some stuff up lol

Thought of that but there's more wires on my factory harness or does that matter

I didn't read the entire thread so I don't know if someone already said this but, I got my fusion and right at around 5000 miles the battery seemed dead no start or turn over or nothing. I jumped it but then the power steering didn't work. So I took it to the dealership (biceps got a workout on the way there with no power steering). But they had to put a new battery in and a new wiring harness. warranty covered everything.

the connectors didn't match the ones on the radio

I have been trying to install a sub and amp in my 2016 ford fusion. I bought a line output converter off amazon to be able to run the rca's to the head unit but it didn't fit. The description said for ford vehicles 2005 and up but I'm pretty sure that it only works up until 2012. Has anyone found a part that would help me? Or has anyone installed a sub and amp in their 2016 fusion what did you use?
