  1. Having a little dilemma. I had to replace the window switches (both sides) and door module (both sides) after getting my windows does tinted. Windows work perfect now, but the lock/unlock and memory seat buttons do not work. (Both sides worked perfect before replacing the modules.) Any ideas on why? I referenced part numbers for the modules, everything else works fine, and the switches still light up with the interior lighting. Is this something I have to reprogram in forscan? Any help would be appreciated.
  2. Hi everyone. I’m looking at a set of 20” Mach E wheels for my Fusion. I think they would look pretty good on the car, and the lug spacing is the same. (I’m trying to keep factory wheels on it) My problem is backspacing. The Mach E wheels have a backspacing of 47.5mm all around. While the Fusion, if I’m correct, is 48-57 from what I can gather and depending on wheel. I know it isn’t much difference but does anyone think it would be an issue?
  3. Thank you for the reply. Finally figured it out. Turns out I just need to rest and come at it again. Works just fine, I was just impatient on waiting for the “memory saved” message to pop up on the instrument cluster. Thanks for the help!
  4. Hi, I was using the owner’s manual instructions. I literally just picked this Fusion up today, after trading in my 2014 Fusion for it. And I never had a problem with saving the seat settings. It’s a little thing but frustrating lol.
  5. Having an issue with the memory seat settings. Every time I save my seat setting, either in the number one or two button, as soon as I hit either number it goes right back to where it was when I bought the car. I’ve reset “my key” on both keys, and tried to pair both keys to the memory setting. Nothing is working. It’s a 2017 Fusion SE 2.0 push button start. Any help would be appreciated since it’s getting old having to move my seat back every time I get in the car like my mother drove it.
  6. Thank you very much for the help, I'll keep you posted on what I end up doing.
  7. That's an idea. Do you know how close the key has to be to the ignition for the chip to work?
  8. Yes, I would want to keep the ford remote, and the ford alarm system. I've looked at kits that come with an rif tag to attach to the key fob, and I am willing to work with that. Maybe even see if I can place the rif tag into the fob, since the tag itself is relatively small. But I have read that I would have to keep the original fob close to the key cylinder because of the original chip in the fob. Not sure if that is true or not.
  9. I got a great deal on the car with the mileage I was looking for, just ended up not getting some of the options I wanted. Love the car though, and there is always the dealer and the aftermarket for some of the options I may want to add in the future.
  10. Hello, new to the forums. I just purchased a 2014 Fusion SE 1.5 ecoboost and am thinking about installing a rif push to start/stop button into the car. I have two questions. 1, Does ford sell an entire kit for this? I can't seem to find one so I'm looking at aftermarket kits. 2, has anyone installed a kit like this in a 2013-2016 Fusion? And if so, any issues and or suggestions? I aplpologize in advance if this topic has been brought up, again, new to the forums.
