About 6 months ago I had a mechanic check this problem and he came up with the blower motor. It cleared up but the smoky smell is back. Does anyone have experience with this problem?

As long as I'm driving my ac works fine. At idle and of course on hot days it blows hot. I read that it might be a condenser fan sensor. Does anyone have experience with this?

Had the blower motor replaced. It would also not work sometimes when it rained. Problem solved

I needed this on my 2012. Didn't do it myself but it's an expensive, labor intensive job. Was quoted 1700 by 2 major repair shops who both turned down the job after researching the procedure. Was quoted 3600 at Ford! In the end found a Ford mechanic who did it for a reasonable price. Yes the motor has to drop because the pump is entwined in the build of the motor. Why do these companies do this?

I've had a thumping sound from inside the car. This sounds as if the mufflers are hitting the underside or as if the shocks or springs are loose or I have a small person in the trunk banging to get out. It happens on small bumps and undulations or even more on cobblestone. After checking by a few mechanics we are still at aloss. Any ideas?
