  1. Purge valve canister is bad and there is a issue with the hose leading from it. Both are being replaced and extended warranty company is waiving deductible.
  2. Got my car back on Thursday. Fuel tank replaced. Today, I was driving and the engine light came on. The code is P1450 - Unable to bleed up fuel tank vacuum. Dropping it back off on Monday.
  3. CORRECTION: There are two rods that hold the fuel pump in place. One of those rods dislodged and that's what caused the puncture in the gas tank. Still no idea how it happened.
  4. Think I must have misheard this. Getting an update later this morning.
  5. This is the video of the gas tank buzzing/farting. I had forgotten to upload this. Have a much longer video but too large to upload. Buzzing tank.mp4
  6. Update 4: One of the fuels rods dislodged - so that is what poked a hole in my gas tank. Still no understanding how it happened. New fuel tank has been ordered and should be installed either Monday or Tuesday. Anyone have a clue how this happened? I am truly curious.
  7. UPDATE 3: They were able to pull back the shield to see where the leak originated from. There is a puncture that appears to have come from the inside of the tank.
  8. UPDATE: Gas tank will be removed tomorrow for a looksee. Found a service bulletin that describes the fuel tank noise - SB-10056931-1271. Is it weird that I want to see my car without the gas tank?
  9. When I had the initial issue a few months back, the dealership checked and my vehicle was not included in the fuel tank recall.
  10. UPDATE: Heard from the service department. the leak is occurring behind the shield that protects the gas tank. Will not be able to see what the problem is until they take the gas tank down.
  11. 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium 2.0 Litre DOHC 16V 5 speed automatic 67,000+ miles The leak was on the driver side rear, about 4-5 inches from the inside of the rear tire.
