I am having this same problem. Hard to restart after getting fuel and this morning it started making a farting noise which was coming from the gas cap. When I pushed the little plastic piece in it stopped but I dont think this is going to solve the problem long term. From everything I have read it appears to be either the purge valve assembly (like described above, but didnt fix the problem) or the emission vapor canister purge valve/solenoid.
