The car won't turn over, I get 2 messages on the dash. 1. Transmission not in park, even though it is in park. 2. Check rear park aid. I'm lost and don't know what to do.

It won't turn over, I turn the key and get nothing. I've charged the battery and still haven't had any luck with it starting. I recently had to change the shifter cable sure to the bushings coming off at the transmission.

Having an issue with starting, dash display says check park aid. Had anyone had this same problem?
