  1. I had the throttle body cleaned about 3 weeks ago. I haven't had any problems since then.
  2. Hello, In the last month, my 06 Ford Fusion SE had some intermittent problems where all of the sudden there is a rough idle. It only lasts for a few seconds and then the car drives normally. One time, it only happened for a second, and the car felt stuck for a second. There were no warning lights and the Check Engine light did not go on. A local mechanic looked at the throttle body and so far told me that it may need to be cleaned. So I am just wondering, if it needs to be cleaned, how much would that cost?
  3. My apologies for the lack of response. Thank you, I will look into this.
  4. Hello, Im not sure if I'm describing this part properly but the the front defroster grill/vent came off on my 2006 Ford Fusion. I can still keep it on there to cover it but sometimes slides right off. Is this easy to replace and could I find this at an auto part store? I attached two pics to show what I mean.
  5. Hello, it was the brake pads and rotors that needed replacement. Its all set now.
  6. I forgot to mention this. A local garage told me that there was considerable rust under the car when I brought my car in for an oil change. I am wondering if this could also be contributing to the scrapping sound.
  7. Hello, I have been noticing lately when I apply my brakes, I hear a scrapping sound and some other type noise. I believe it is coming from the back right brakes. However, after a complete stop and when I begin driving again, I still hear a scrapping sound but then it stops. Would anyone know what this could be? This is a 2006 Ford Fusion sedan. Thank you
  8. My apologies for the late response. I did end up having the battery replaced. Thank you for your help.
  9. I purchased this car used and not sure about how old the battery. I am going to have this checked out this week.
  10. The only thing that had done was the Air conditioning. The A/C did not even work and I got that repaired last summer and it's working again.
  11. Hello, when I started up my car again. The wrench light did not light up and it drove fine without going into limp mode. I drove again today, 2 days after this happened an no wrench light and drove normally. However, when I drove the car this morning, the airbag dash light came on and stayed on. It was extremely cold/frigid weather. I started my car up later and no warning lights stayed on while driving.
  12. Hello, When I was driving my Fusion home, a yellow wrench light cam up on the dashboard. I drove on a highway and on a local road. It was snowy conditions. The biggest thing that I noticed was it was a little sluggish. When I applied my brakes, it add a slippery stop. Would this wrench light indicate that there is something wrong with the throttle body or transmission? Any help is appreciated. thanks
  13. Unfortunately, I will not be working with the dealership to resolve the AC problem. There was a falling out between us and I'll be going elsewhere to take care of this. There are 2 Ford service centers near me as well as a mechanic who I've dealt with before whom I am considering to use. I'm not 100% sure that the PCM module is the problem but how much would it cost to replace the part along with the programming? Would taking it to a Ford dealership/service center be a lot more expensive? Thank You
  14. When I last spoke to the dealership, I was told to bring the 2 keys that I have for my Fusion. I will even bring my remote starter too. Which part of the ECM needs to be programmed and is the programming necessary?
