I bought a 2006 fusion SEL about a year ago. When I bought it, the only issue was the ac not blowing cold, or so I thought. I replaced the evap temp sensor behind the dash after reading several threads about it. Nothing changed after spending a total of 5 hours on it. I then took it to ford and it turns out the sensor I put in was bad. After paying ford the ridiculous $800 to replace it for me the second time, the ac worked great. About 3 days later I noticed the compressor never stops. It will continuously run whether the ac is on or off. So whenever I turn it off inside the car, the ac lines completely freeze. I’ve now traced it back to the ECM. Somewhere inside the ecm, it is keeping the compressor on. I decided to get another ECM out of a parts car, I also got the keys that are to the ecm of the parts car. Now that I’ve installed it, my car will not crank. All electrical will come on, but the car will not turn over at all. The only dash light is the security, which is showing a 1-5 code. Any help?
