I've owned a Non-Ford 4cyl in the past. Two many problems with it. I wouldn't buy anything less than a 6 or one of Volvo's inline 5s.

Two words. Fleet sales.

Guess I'll be waiting longer. Oh well just got the X paid for. I can live without a car payment.

Unfortunatly I think the public puts more stock in the Car & Truck of the Year crap. Civic Car of the Year? Ridgeline Truck of the Year? Give me a break. All Honda did was pay out the big bucks for those titles.

I think its a case again of the automotive media overhyping the Asian imports and making the American made cars & trucks sound like garbage. The American brands have definatly improved alot, even in just the last 5-10 years.

I wonder if they plan on ruining stock car racing the way they ruined open wheel racing?

The automotive media has been biased towards the big 3 for years. I think they want them to fail.

I would hope so. It really doesn't look like that Ford stockcar body changed a whole lot from the Taurus. If they were able to build on that and make an even better car sounds good to me. Maybe Matt will win the Daytona 500. :D

I wanna wait for the 3.5L so I can have more power and still use 87 octane gas, plus AWD. My current ride uses 93 octane and when a hurricane starts blowing I'm SOL on finding any gas but 87 if even that.

IMHO this falls under frivilous. You don't need 61 million dollars because you rolled over. 61 million dollars isn't bringing anyone back either. Most folks that have SUVS don't know how to drive in the first place. They probably also don't mention that it was some kid speeding when he rolled over. They just want to blame Ford for all their problems. I had a blowout at 65-70 mph on the highway in an Explorer and I didn't rollover. Why you ask? Because I actually know how to drive! These people make me sick. The judges are even more worthless for letting crap like this happen. BTW I had a nails in my tire, thanks to a stupid neighbor, that caused it to come apart and they weren't Firestones.

Yep it still isn't as bad as the Dodge Dakota recall where the front wheels could fall off when you're driving.

This is an incredibly stupid and disappointing move. Once again a great example of the moron beancounters at work. One of FoMoCo's biggest downfalls is that instead of car guys running the ship we have the beancounters that have screwed us out of cars that could have been beyond incredible, and themselves out of the market.

I really wish they'de have built the 427. Then Ford would have had a real 300 beater.
