Liquid Glass is really awsome stuff too.

Not bad. Not bad at all.

I was all set to buy a used 2006 Milan Premier 4 cylinder. Having read that you can't tow with the vehicle I guess I will go back to an Altima, my second choice unless I get a satisfactory answer from the Mercury Dealer. I was hoping to put on a 1,000 pound hitch just to tow a light trailer on rare occasions and to have a receiver for my bike rack.
Let us know when the Altima's CVT melts on you from towing.

It's no big secret that the media would love for Ford or GM to shut their doors for good. It would give them something to talk about for 24 hours a day for 6 months and put a flashy title on. People like this MSNBC writer have no business covering the automotive industry. He's just blah-blahing something another useless mediabot has already said before just so he can seem relevant.

So long as they don't use the 360 board, everything will be dandy. Can you imagine the clock face on the dash flashing orange after a critical failure? LOL
I think I'de be making a trip to Redmond if I bought an MKZ and it had the dreaded "3 rings of death" :D

I really like those they look like they came standard on the Fusion. The stock Edge wheels look better than the optional ones IMHO.

Good luck. I got rear-ended last year. Good thing it was a Hyundai that hit me. I only had paint damage.

I've seen that before. I bet he wanted to smack her.

Guess what Bob? Our mileage is improving somewhat. Just passed 2,160 miles and the mileage has climbed from 13 mpg to 14.8 mpg for all in-city driving, calculated the old-fashion way, number of gallons used divided into the number of miles driven. The on-board computer said 14.6. Maybe, just maybe we'll get to the wonderful 17.9 mark you are getting, which would be delightful.
Glad to hear things are finally improving.

Hope to see one. I finally saw a Ford GT on the road the other. Very impressive.

Liquid glass is very good stuff. Been using it for years.

I had to wash the pollen off of mine the other day. It was getting yeller from just an afternoon in the office parking lot. Stuff gets my allergies on high alert.

Sounds great. My explorer is a pain to drive in the wind.

Direct injection would help these cars out tremendously on fuel mileage and performance. I wish they'de hurry up and add it.

I'm envious of all you guys. The X only gets around 14-19 on premium.

Congrats on the new ride!

Noble?
It sure puts out some impressive numbers with it's Turbo 3.0 Duratec don't it.

That's not this package. That's a dealer edition, hence it's not lowered and still has the two lower fascia bars. This factory package is still a few weeks away from hitting dealer lots.
Again, I want to know where the damned supercharger option is!
Or a turbo even.

The only problem I've had with my medium light stone is the driver's floor mat. Of course that depends a lot on who gets in your car and with what (food, etc.).
You can buy scotchguard at the grocery store that will help if you apply it every 6 months or so. But anything light will get dirty - no way around that.
I just don't let people eat in my car. :shades:

As long as your car is under warranty they should provide you a rental when they have to keep it overnight. That's how it worked when my Explorer was under warranty.

The silver chrome radio stack is so much nicer than the standard boring black. Very nice.
-
Very nice. I'm really leaning more towards the MKZ as my next car now. It has all the stuff I want that the Fusion doesn't have, HID lighting, heated and cooled seats, 3.5L. I like the dark pearl blue or merlot with the black interior. Hows the interior look at night? Doesn't the MKZ have white led lighting instead of the normal FoMoCo green?

I believe the Fusion is going to have a refresh in MY09 or MY10.

Motor Trend makes up news now. To me it's not worth the paper it's printed on.
