  1. I have a squeaking, groaning noise coming from the front end of my 2011 Fusion SE. It only happens when it is warmer than 50-60 degrees. I read some posts here and elsewhere to try and isolate the problem. I replaced the sway bar links first, as they were only $35.00. No change. Noise still present. I then replaced both front struts/ coil assemblies $300.00. No change, noise still present. During these steps I also inspected the control arm bushings, ball joints, cv joints, boots, etc... I found no play or looseness anywhere. there are plastic covers under my engine compartment that I will remove next to get a better look at things. Any ideas would be appreciated.
  2. Hi all, I have a 2011 Fusion with similar noises that seem to be seasonal as well. In the winter there is little to no noise. The ford mechanic couldn't find anything wrong with my struts etc... last year. My wife's car so I never drive it. Now that it's warm the noise is back with every little bump, taking off, accelerating. It not thumping like a motor mount would if it were broken. It squeaks, squawks, creaks, and squeals. It only has 92k miles on it and is a shopping vehicle mostly. Any ideas or inspections recommended would be appreciated!
  3. Hi everyone, I'm looking for information on the possible causes of all the squeaking, squawking, and other assorted noises coming from the front end of our 2011 Fusion. We just turned 92,000 miles and this has been going on for the last year. Some times there isn't any noise, especially in the cold winter weather. As soon as it gets warmer out it's pretty annoying. My wife had it looked at last year and the mechanic said the struts were fine, linkage, etc... I was just wondering if anyone else has had the same symptoms and how they were resolved. Thanks for your time and help!
