    Is it dying after heavy acceleration at highway speeds or right after starting the vehicle after a short time off, like when running into the grocery store? I have experienced both and may be able to help with some more information!

    If the catalytic converter is bad, they are covered by a Federal mandated warranty for 8 years/80,000 miles.
