  1. What was initial problem, what did they fix?
  2. I looked into the recalls where I'm at online, check the vin, but nothing with the brake system.
  3. Hello, I've been working on the brakes. The pedal wants to go to the floor. The fluid level was fine, there wasn't any leaks at the bleeder valves. I bled the brakes, starting with the right rear first. I check for vacuum leaks using berryman's b12. I check the rebound of the brake pedal with the engine off, it didn't want to pop back up fast like a leaky booster would do. It's not pulling to the right or left like a stuck caliper. I want to run a vacuum test, but don't know where to perform one at on my engine. And how much vacuum should it pull? Or if someone has something else that I can check that might be the problem? Regards,
  4. I ended up changing it myself. It's easy to do. Everything is running fine, no more engine lights. Ford was giving me a hassle saying it wasn't under warranty. They replaced the engine, but used the old injectors and the new warrarnty doesn't cover the old injectors. Just stupid. if anyone is interested, the correct cylinder location and firing order is in this diagram. This is for a 2012 Ford Fusion Sport 3.5L
  5. Yes the CEL is blinking. I'll just see if Ford will come and pick it up. Everything is under warranty.
  6. Thank you for this. I have to drive my car to the dealership, which is about 15m away through town. Will this be ok with it missing and running rough? Should I unplug the injector and coil pack?
  7. Thank you for your help! I called 2 ford dealerships and they both told me it was the back bank on the left, next to the firewall....dummies
  8. Hello, I have a 2012 Ford Fusion Sport and I'm getting engine code P0202 - Faulty fuel injector 2 Fuel Injector 2 harness is open or Shorted Fuel injector 2 circuit poor electrical connection Can someone tell me where the number 2 cylinder is at? I can't find it anywhere online. I can change the injector myself and see if that's the problem. Regards
  9. An update to this whole fiasco. I took my Ford back in this past April. Still making the same "lifter tappet" noise. Anyways, they had my car for over 2 weeks. They said that they found the noise, it was the camshaft phasers. I said good, those can make noise if they are worn out. So they replaced those. They also found other things, like my belt-tensioner was bad, broken motor mount, which was causing my exhaust to make noise on the frame, and a leaky transmission gasket. I told them the first time I took it in that the rear motor mount was broken, but they said they couldn't find a broken motor mount. So they replaced all of this. So I get my car back. I drove it the next day across town, came out of the store, fired it up, still the same noise. I called them and they said bring it back in. This time they had it for almost three weeks, no rental car was given to me and they couldn't find anything wrong, they couldn't replicate the noise. Told me my car ready to be picked up. Of course I was upset, they are basically calling me a liar and/or paranoid. Later on that week I got a email asking how was your visit to Ford. I let them know how I felt. I put all 1 star reviews, and in the comments, how disappointed I was. And that I probably need to get an attorney involved. That Monday, one of the head people at my local Ford called me and told me that they are going to resolve everything. She was going to make sure of it. So again, I take my car in a couple of weeks ago, they got the OK to tear my motor apart. I got a message today stating that they found scoring on the camshaft bearing caps and they are worm. And they are waiting for the approval to replace my old motor with a new one..... All that trouble and inconvenience for me, treating me like I was paranoid or ignorant, when I knew exactly what I was talking about. I've rebuilt motors starting with my dad since I was a child. So I know some things about cars. I guess I should be happy that I'm getting a new/rebuilt motor out of this...
  10. That worked thanks.

    PCV Location

Hello, On my 2012 Fusion Sport 3.5L, where is the PCV Valve location? I cannot for the life of me find it online. The Haynes book for it doesn't show the location. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
  12. I got the bumper to bumper warranty from the dealership when I purchased the car. It's good up to 80k miles, which is no problem since i have only 57k miles as of right now. Yes, I'm going to try a different dealership and see if I can get a second opinion. I'll keep you update. Thanks.
  13. Well I took my car in and dropped it off yesterday. They said that it has a lifter/tappet noise, but not excessive, and the tappets will have to be changed in the future and the cam inspected for wear. Why not change them now for preventive maintenance? Because when I drove 80 miles to the bay area, when I restarted the motor, it was extremely loud. The guy from Quicklane that helped me in the beginning and set up this appointment told me that the service tech and service manager got upset with him for telling me there was something wrong with the motor. So this is the 3rd time with two different Fusions that I've had problems with this Ford dealership and their so called technicians. I've proved them wrong twice already with my previous Fusion. I don't know where to go from here. The guy from Quicklane told me to try the dealership from our neighboring town. But idk anymore. I think this has ruined it for me with Ford. I wrote a 3 page complaint and mailed to Ford in MI, since there isn't a corporate email. What would you guys do in my position? I love my car and I don't want to get rid of it, but if this is the "service" that I'm going to receive, I don't know what else to do?
  14. I changed the oil just to make sure, still making the sound. I took it to Ford this morning and the guy from Quiklane said, yes there is a lifter or something else wrong for sure. He wrote up a tag and listed what he heard also for reference. So I'll take it back in Monday and drop it off. It has a broken motor mount also, under the battery. Everything is covered. I'm glad I have the bumper to bumper warranty.
