Hey all question about the active grill shutters. Are they programed for only fully open or fully closed? I have a 2015 ford fusion and my lower shutters have only one shutter open and the rest closed. On my upper shutters behind the chrome grill they all open and close together

Recently bought a 2015 ford fusion. It's a 4 cylinder 2.5L. I'm not a mechanic by any means and not very car savvy. Anyways is it normal to have a slight knocking noise with the Fusion's? My car has low miles and never has been in an accident.
