I wanted to say thank you so much to everyone here! You guys really led me in the right direction. Went ahead and pulled the plug. Currently been dripping for a few hours. I’ve attached a photo of the old and new fluid. The old is dark, but is not burnt, so I think I got it at the right time, although I think I’m gonna start doing a 35,000 miles or 2 years as I do drive mainly highway everywhere and drive about 30,000 miles a year. Once again, thank you all!

Perfect! And I’m assuming with that transmission too, the filter is non replaceable?

I have a 2012 Ford Fusion Sport with FWD. I had 75k and want to change the fluid. How do I know which transmission I have? I believe there are 2 types of trans on the fusion.

I’m fine with doing that as long as it does still at least function. Is it plug and play where I can get it and just plug it in and the climate controls function as normal?

That was the main reason why I purchased it with that headunit but I didn’t realize that it would be complicated with my climate controls. Is it possible to use the climate controls with something else? Like manual climate controls

My problem is I have a first gen fusion At this point I’ll even eliminate the climate controls from the radio headunit if I can control them in some other way

I have a 2012 Fusion Sport with the Sync Navigation package and I want to upgrade the head unit to have something with CarPlay and navigation. My problem is that I have climate controls built into the current factory one. Are there any radios out there that are compatible with the steering wheel functions and the climate control along with the USB port? The sync system is so buggy and slow and I wouldn’t mind a nice upgrade no matter the cost. Attached is my current setup that I would like to upgrade.
