  1. hey guys, not sure if I'm doing this right, just joined, but we took the daughters car , a 2010 fusion se ,to wallmart for tires yesterday , she had a bent (steel) rim so I picked one up at a local junk yard. they changed the tires and used the tire pressure sensor from the old rim on the new (used) one. all went well until we drove away and the wife noticed the dome lights flashing and the info on the instrument panel says 'tire pressure sensor failure' we go back and the mech. relearns all the tire pressure sensors again and they all seamed to respond on his meter. then he plugs it into the u.s.b. and it appears to work well, but as he finishes, the driver side window powers down, I asked about that and he says 'weird'. not really the technical term I was after. none of this changed the lights flashing and the message on the instrument screen. at this point no one in the garage had any ideas, so I tell the manager that I will call the dealership for any advice and get back with him. if all the sensors sent a p.s.i. reading back to the meter, I assume the sensors are working, so is there a reset procedure that makes the car happy again? any advice would be greatly appreciated. pinenut
