  1. Good morning, 2015 Fusion SE 2.0L (standard radio screen) has an issue where the radio screen is blacked out. The radio and buttons work fine, just the screen is blank. Can someone suggest what to check or does the radio need to be replaced? Lastly, is this fairly easy swap out? I have access to an identical parts car with a good radio. Many thanks!
  2. We have done it at work with a Chevy by using the VIN #, but the dealer knows who we are - we spend thousands there per year in service repairs. They just run the VIN and cut the key, but still has to be programmed at the dealer. I did it once myself with a personally owned Mercedes, but I had to show proof of ownership. Thanks. Looks like it will be towed to the dealer, hopefully the keys will turn up, someone has them somewhere. I think someone was taking a look at it to buy and the key never made it back.
  3. Hi all. Not sure if this is the right forum, but does a new key (if ordered with the VIN #) have to be programmed by the dealer, or is there a technique where you can do it yourself? I ask because at work we have a fleet car we are selling ('13 Fusion SE) and someone has lost both keys to it. :O I am sure we can order a new key using the VIN, but I know we had a '16 Impala LS Limited this happened to and it had to be towed to the dealer to be programmed to the car and it didn't even have the remove buttons on the key. Don't care about the buttons locking it, just want to make sure we can get the car to start with the new key. Thanks!
