  1. I called Ford Corp. knowing it wouldn't go anywhere but just wanted to get a case number. They said it was between me and the dealer of course. No obvious signs of damage. Fluid is at correct level now and I don't see any contamination (metal shavings etc. on the stick). From this post https://www.fordfusionforum.com/topic/7592-transmission-fluid-flush-change-10-fusion-se-4-cyl/ that shows how much the fluid moves up the dipstick per Qt of fluid I was able to determine it was >2 Qts low. I got the usual txt from the service writer to write a review. I hate to flame it because he had nothing to do with it. Guess I will do a google review and vent my frustration. Thanks for the input. I'm gonna try and track down the Regional Managers name and info to log a complaint.
  2. Hello, 2012 Ford Fusion SEL 108,068 miles. In bit of a bad spot here. Long story short, Had the car in for the Power steering flash. Decided to have the tranny flushed. Drove home no problems as I drive pretty conservatively. Next day had to pass a car and accelerated. Car started revving and bucking and clunking. Pulled over and checked the fluid and no fluid was registering on the dip stick. Bone dry! Called the dealer and they 1st suggested I drive to Auto Parts store and pick up some fluid. I refused. Then they said to come down and pick some up from their shop. I refused and requested they tow it back to their shop. It arrived this AM and I went in the shop with the Tech and we confirmed that no fluid was registering on the dip stick. I walked back to the waiting room shaking my head. He came out 1/2hr later and said he added 1 1/2 Qts and test drove it. No shifting problems and no codes present. Service manager said he could not give me any kind of Warr on a tranny with 108K. Lots more dialogue but I will spare you the garbage he was shoveling. No sure what to do. I guess it's time to trade it in. To me it's a $4K ticking time bomb now. What would you do? I took a video showing no fluid in case I needed it. I normally do all my own wrenching for this very reason. The one time I decide to have a dealer work on my car and this happens.
