  1. Hello, I was just wondering if anyone could tell me where to find the a/c pressure switch and a/c cutoff switch. I have only found one on one of the a/c hoses near the firewall. I'm getting an error code P0533. I had unhooked the switch while the battery was plugged in and now it's throwing up this code. I'm not sure if I can just unplug the battery and rehook it or if I maybe messed something up. Is there even a transducer and cutoff switch on this car? It's a 2010 Ford Fusion SE 4 cyl. Thank you very much.
  2. Hello sorry to make another topic after the one where I was looking for screws for a blend door actuator. I found the screws and got the blend door actuator in, I do think there is a short in the wiring to it as I can reach under and push on the wires just a little and then it will let me change the temperature knob so that's not too big of a deal as it seems to be working anyway. My question is that the ac won't kick on. It's no longer just blowing hot air at least as it will blow hot if I turn it to hot and then the outside temp if I turn it to cold. There were some people working on the a/c for me but I haven't heard back from them in a while and it's starting to get hot outside so I just decided to take a look myself. They had left the blend door actuator off so it wouldn't blow hot air on me but I think I fixed that. I fixed the vents not working as well I believe. It looked like someone had tried bypassing a sensor when I pulled down the glove box there were 2 wires cut on the plugin. There was a sensor just laying there with two wires hooked to it coming from the car some where. So i unhooked that sensor and reconnected the wires to the plugin and now my vents are letting me change them around again so I can actually use my defrosters when it rains. I was just wondering if anyone has an idea on the next step I should do, I know they had told me once that they thought it was the evap temp sensor which I'm assuming was the one wired up behind the glove box I found. Is there a correct way to bypass this or should I try maybe taking the dash out and installing it myself? I can understand they may not have wanted to mess with that as I bought the car from them and they said they would check the a/c compressor and freon and try to get the a/c working. I do kind of wish that wires and things hadn't been cut though but I think I sorted that out. They did say they could kick on the compressor manually with one of those scan tools so they didnt think that it was bad. Any help would be appreciated and sorry for such a long post. I don't know much about cars I'm just doing things based on what I read so any help is appreciated. Thank you.
  3. Thank you both for the replies I think I will go and try a salvage yard, we have a couple of those and I know one of them is not even a mile from here. I seen several cars that looked just like mine sitting out there so maybe they can help me out.
  4. Ok thank you for the reply. I will have to see where the nearest one is to me there arent really many new car dealers or anything where I live but I think there are about 30 miles away or so. I've got some screws that will fit in the whole and are the 5.5mm but they are different threads I think. I just don't want to mess anything up with them.
  5. Hello, I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what kind of screws I need to install a blend door actuator in a 2010 ford fusion. It does not have one it for me to go by and the auto parts store didnt seem to have what I needed. Thank you very much.
