  1. Sorry, its 2014 2.5 SE. Owners manual states, that specification should be XT-10-QLV Mercon LV. Seems like mentioned Ravenol products meets this specification. Hopefully I didn't screw up
  2. Also, maybe you know how risky it is to change fluid after 100k when trans is shifting gear a bit harshly? I am afraid that I will change it and wont be able to move at all
  3. Thank you for the info. I found this fluid and ordered it. It looks like it is approved by mercon lv, could you give a look? https://www.ravenol.de/en/product-range/atf-transmission-fluids-for-automatic-transmissions-1/ravenol-atf-mercon-lv-fluid/
  4. Ford Fusion 2.5 with 6F35 trans FWD. 100k miles have passed and my tranny is shifting harshly, so I decided to try and change the transmission fluid. I know that these transmissions take Mercon LV fluid. My question is - is there any difference between Motorcrafts Mercon LV and, for example, Liqui Molly fluid with Mercon LV certificate? I live in northern europe and it is difficult to get Motorcraft parts, but there are a lot of alternatives.
  5. It's not an issue to change it, I know. I am just afraid to ruin my transmission because of the new fluid.
  6. Recently I bought Ford Fusion (USA) 2014 SE with 2.5l I4 Duratec25 engine in it. It has automatic 6 speed 6F35 transmission in it. It has 92k miles on it. This is the first car with automatic transmission that I own. The automatic transmission in it once in a while shifts a gear (random gear) a bit harsh. If you drive it normally then everything seems to be pretty smooth (pretty smooth for 2006 design gearbox). I have read many horror stories of how automatic transmissions start to behave abnormally once you change oil in them. I have no idea whether previous owners changed the oil regularly or not. My question is - how likely is it that if I change the oil in my transmission it will start to rough shift gears or start to slip? Maybe it would be a better idea not to change oil at all? Maybe those rough shifts which happen sometimes indicate that the gearbox is already worn and there is no point in changing the oil?
  7. I wont 2014 Ford Fusion with 2.5L inline 4 Gasoline engine. Wikipedia says its Duratec 25. Question: is it belt or chain driven? Thank you!
  8. I own 2014 ford fusion SE with halogen (H7) headlights. There is a weird issue with drivers side lamp - sometimes it randomly flickers a bit and because of this reason bulbs go out fast. Bumpy road doesn't increase the flickering, however, if I turn on turn signal then flickering intensifies and becomes very obvious. Has anyone had this issue? The generator works fine and outputs stable voltage and passengers headlight works fine as well.
