  1. I've experienced the opposite, if i switch to the view with the RPMs it sounds like it is really high but it hardly ever reaches past 4000. the engine is just really loud sometimes. Once you are cruising it is a lot quieter than most cars I've rode in.
  2. Oriza, no one has replied to you, did you figure this out? Some other things that might affect your FE are what gas you are using. No one has really uploaded a video of what "ev mode" driving looks like and has just described it, so i will try to get you some video of that in my car. The dash display could also be wrong, have you calculated your mpg by hand instead since you got the car? Here is an example of the motor powering the wheels at 45 mph, as well as accelerating in a neighborhood street. Sorry about the dusty car, haven't vacuumed it with the weather being so cold and rainy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQAd9bjwue4&feature=youtu.be https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgl8I7Ro3zk&feature=youtu.be
  3. Is this calculated mpg or based on what the dash says ?
  4. How are you driving? Even right now in the cold I have a hard time getting less than 35mpg in the city, 40 on the highway. but it is only 40 degrees here.
  5. The battery will recondition itself. You will know it is doing it because the ICE will cut on and not turn off even when you come to a stop. It will charge the battery all the way to H and still stay charging for a little. Then it will stay like this for around 10-20 minutes. (Engine on, no auto start stop) During this time your brakes may feel a little different. I think it’s because it is not able to use any electricity while it is reconditioning, so regenerative braking doesn’t work. after 10-20 it will just go back to normal. If the vehicle is taken out of drive, it will cancel the recondition and attempt it later. So keep this in mind. If you drive more on the highway than in the city, it is possible you won’t even know it had a reconditioning event as it can do it during high speed driving as well.
  6. what maintenance have you done with 300 on the clock? My FFH has almost 150k and I’m wondering if I should change the transmission fluid or not. I’ve heard from absolutely to not necessary. if you changed your fluid, at how many miles did you do it?
  7. Condition wise it looks good on the outside minus a dent in the fender that us on the vin report as ‘damage reported’ And maintenance wise it looks like it was taken to the same dealer for oil changes and maintenance until it was traded in. I’m test driving it early next week, is there anything I should look for that indicate something is wrong? it has 164k miles but sells for 4K. It says it was a fleet vehicle as well. Thank you in advance!
